The event, organized by University of Peradeniya, was held online 13th May 2021, 10.00-15.00 (GMT+5.30). 49 participants were involved in lively discussion on the desirable features of the TEAL2.O platform and the challenges and future of online higher education in the country.
The event was attended by representatives of the Sri Lanka Ministry of Higher Education and the University Grants Commission. The organizers had the privilege to share with them the project plans and to get valuable feedback. In addition, the event was attended by ESOFT Metro Campus, Lanka Education and Research Network and 9 other Sri Lanka Universities, all of whom we expect to soon see become contributors and users of the TEAL2.O platform.
