TEAL-Moodle
The TEAL-Moodle provides a centralized and user-friendly hub for students to access their curated courses for the current semester. Students can access course content such as class announcements, zoom records, course slides in interactive h5p format, class quizzes, group work, lab materials and other class resources.
Dashboard
On the TEAL – Dashboard, students can see a comprehensive snapshot of their online learning experience. They are notified of important announcements, deadlines, or messages, ensuring users stay informed about their educational progress. They can readily see their schedule through the calendar.
Courses
The currently offered courses on the TEAL-Moodle are Computer Programming for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Data Modeling and Management, Full Stack Application Development and Machine Learning. Future courses such as Information Systems Development and Management, and Semantic Web Technologies are ready for implementation in future semesters. Along with these courses a training course called TEAL Moodle 101 is offered to familiarize users with the Moodle platform for effective learning.
Course Content
Each course has organized sections where students can access information regarding the course, download essential resources, work on group projects that focus on real-world applications, practice their skills through coding assignments or lab work and evaluate their comprehension through Examinations. Students can also revise lectures using Zoom records for flexible learning.
Course slides are shared using h5p format for rich interactive content display. Students can evaluate their knowledge through review quizzes at the end of lessons. Wide array of plugins also allow inclusion of group activity and integration of other collaborative tools.
